Please forgive my annual December indulgence of going off topic from the usual business. Last December I wrote about the virtues of small town America. This year, it’s gratitude.
Sure, we all appreciate the big things in life – family, health, our jobs. But when I asked my colleagues at Allied Pixel what they are grateful for this year, this is what they said:
- Hotdogs with mustard at ballparks
- The Detroit Lions
- Brisk morning walks
- Coffee, in all its forms
- Creative people
- Taking a picture of sunrise
- Playing the piano
- Winning Philly teams
- Rock music and concerts
- Sharing great food and great wine
- Curbside pickup
- The sun and the moon
- Art, music & film
- Weekends
It seems to me that it’s the little things in life that bring the most joy. As my own kids have gotten older, I so love (and miss) the sound of a baby’s laugh.
I am grateful for you too, my friend. Thank you for being part of the Allied Pixel family. I hope you’ll have an opportunity to pause for just a moment this holiday season, to appreciate the little things in life that bring you joy.
Welcome new clients!
With gratitude,
