Allied Pixel produced 108 videos last year, setting a new record for us. That means we cranked out an average of two short films a week — a pretty astonishing clip for a modest-sized team like ours.
And I think it’s objectively some of the best work we’ve done. I’m really proud of our production team, led by Dan Mendenhall and Arielle Thomas. These guys go the extra mile time and time again and it really shows.
It may look effortless, but a tremendous amount of hard work and passion went into making these videos.
How do you sum up a year’s worth of work in under two minutes? Inevitably it’s a fairly arbitrary process, but we did try to draw out some themes that are representative of the projects we’ve been working on.
We normally release our new reel in January. Like the proverbial shoemaker’s kids … so it goes; we’ve been wrapped up with client work. But it’s all good.
